  • When you post any material (such as User Content) on or through the Service, you may be providing Personal Information.
  • When you order products or services through the Service, you provide Personal Information necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, email, credit card information, shipping information and billing information.

Service Use Information

Like most website operators, Montage collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Montage's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Montage's visitors use its website. From time to time, Montage may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Montage also collects potentially personally-identifying information that is collected by Google Analytics. The analytics feature Montage has implemented is based on Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the Doubleclick Campaign Manager integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting). Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customer Display Network ads using Ads Settings.

Montage will not facilitate the merging of personally-identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information previously collected from Google Display Advertising features that is based on the DoubleClick cookie unless Montage has robust notice of, and the user's prior affirmative (i.e., opt-in) consent to, that merger. Montage also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Montage only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

At any time, visitors may choose to opt-out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Montage uses the Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting feature to identify trends in the usage of its website for marketing purposes and internal reporting.

You post Personal Information in User Content (as defined in Montage's Terms of Service) through the Service at your own risk. Although we allow you to set privacy options that limit access to your books, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other users with whom you may choose to share your books and Personal Information. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that User Content you post on or through the Service will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. Click on the "Arrange Page" button on the editing screen. From there, you can drag and drop a page spread to rearrange it in the position you want on the screen.
How many photos can I upload?
The minimum to start a project is 20 photos. During the initial step, you can upload up to 350 photos from your computer or from your Amazon Cloud Photo, Facebook, Flickr, Instagram, SmugMug or Picasa account. Once you are editing your Montage you will be able to upload an additional 150 photos.
How do I create an account?
Please create a Montage before signing up for an account. Once your book has been created, click on the "Save and Leave" icon to save your work and sign up for an account.
How many pages can my book have?
You can have a maximum of 80 pages.
What kind of paper do you print on and how are the books bound?
We use a silk, semi-matte, 120 lb. paper that is both acid and lignin-free. The binding method allows the spine of the book to open fully, resulting in a perfectly flat page.

Our books are available in the following dimensions 6x6", 8x8", 10x10", and 12x12".
What file format does Montage accept?
We support .JPG, .PNG, and .TIFF files. The recommend photo specifications include file sizes that are within 2-10MB, 300 dpi and sRGB color profile.
